Full Moon is on a quest to help people — designers, marketers, strategists, founders, knowledge workers of many varieties — think better, stay relevant, and do work that matters.

Who?

We are Mark Curtis and David Mattin, long-time collaborators obsessed with how technology and culture shape one another — and what that means for organisations and the people inside them.

Mark is a serial entrepreneur and pioneering design, strategy and thought-leadership figure. He co-founded Fjord, which became one of the world’s largest digital design agencies and was acquired by Accenture, where he later helped shape what is now Accenture Song. Mark led the globally influential Life Trends programme for nearly two decades, helping senior leaders understand the human consequences of digital change, and advised executive teams across industries on design, experience, innovation and sustainability. He has founded multiple companies, published Distraction – Being Human in the Digital Age, and today works independently as a strategic advisor, writer and speaker. He is co-founder of Full Moon.

David is a writer, speaker and technologist whose deep obsession is the relationship between emerging technologies and human beings. He advises leaders inside global organisations on how consumer lives are changing, how to build impactful new products and services, and how internal cultures must evolve. He has worked with brands including Disney, Meta, Mastercard, Universal Music, KPMG and Marriott; speaks regularly at conferences such as The Next Web and NEXT; and leads technology research at Global Macro Investor, where his work is read by investment banks, hedge funds and family offices worldwide. He is the founder of New World Same Humans, a newsletter followed by 30,000 readers across industry, academia and policy-making, and the author of Creature vs Machine (forthcoming, 2027). David is co-founder of Full Moon.
